Check it out: using Begin via slash command in Slack is a bit obscure, but it can be super helpful.
Normally, everything that happens in a Slack channel is visible to all the channel's members. That includes things like creating tasks with Begin.
But what if you could create a task with Begin that didn't add any clutter in the channel's messages, and that didn't require you to leave the channel, either.
/begin to create tasks in a channel without interrupting the conversation. Begin will respond back with your new task in a message that's only visible to you.

Take note: while
/begin responds with Slack messages that are only visible to you, that doesn't mean the tasks you make with it are also invisible to your teammates. Any task you make with
/begin is still a normal task, carrying with it the permissions of the channel it's a part of. Learn more about task privacy here.
